TILLEY immigrated on the "ZOUCH PHENIX" in 1624, from Chilthorne, Domer,
Somerset, ENG. According to Savage, He was kllled by Pequot Indians who attack
ed his boat off Block Island (SAVAGE 4:303). According to the Mayflower
Quarterly, May 1990, P.118, John (1599-1636) was Bapt. 26Aug1599, Henlow,
Bedfordshire, son of John and Joan (Hurst) (Rogers) TILLEY.
John Tilley was immigrant and 16th signer of Mayflower Compact. He was married
to Joan HURST on 20 Sep 1596 in Henlow Par., Bedford, ENG.
